Joelle Tabone is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years experience consulting to a wide range of private and family owned organisations on various corporate matters including business and taxation advice, business valuation and enhancement and succession planning.
Originally a credit analyst with an Australian-owned and controlled credit reporting and business information organisation, Joelle later spent time with a boutique chartered accountancy firm where she worked closely with a variety of clients including legal firms, manufacturers, high net worth individuals and restaurants.
Joelle joined HLB Mann Judd in 2001 and is a Partner within our Business Services division.
Whilst Joelle possesses significant experience across several business disciplines, she is known foremost for her expertise in assisting international corporations seeking to establish business operations within Australia.
This work has included Joelle working closely with a foreign organisation seeking to acquire an Australian business. Her extensive work on this task included designing and formalising a favourable business structure, assisting with due diligence and undertaking a compliance review of the business being acquired. Joelle’s advice in this matter included establishing new taxation arrangements that took into account various complex issues surrounding tax consolidations and transfer pricing. Following the successful acquisition of the business, Joelle has continued to provide ongoing business advice to the client.
