Jeff Long is recognised and highly regarded for his technical expertise, and for his ability to communicate that expertise to clients in a way that is highly accessible and easily understood.
With over 15 years experience as chartered accountant, he maintains particularly strong credentials in the areas of business and taxation advice, business valuation and enhancement, and superannuation.
As Head of HLB Mann Judd’s Business Services Division, he has developed strong and long standing relationships with clients across a range of industries, and worked closely with many of the clients to develop and improve their businesses.
In addition to undertaking work for a wide range of publicly listed groups, Jeff has worked closely with numerous private groups. In particular, he has undertaken work for family-owned and operated businesses, where he built a strong reputation as a highly personal and sensitive practitioner. This has included complex matters of succession of family businesses. The ultimately successful completion of sale remains a testament to Jeff’s ability for openness, flexibility and proper appreciation of the vested interests of all parties to a transaction.
Jeff’s strong standing with both clients and peers means that he is highly sought after as a speaker, and he frequently presents at seminars on various matters including business valuations, succession planning and technical issues such as taxation.
