Wayne commenced his career in 1973 as a trainee with O L Haines and Co, which merged soon after to become Deloitte Haskins and Sells. During that time, Wayne completed a two year secondment working in the firm's London office. He returned to Perth in 1980 and in 1982, joined Forbes, Bradbury and Co, one of the original firms which merged to become HLB Mann Judd in 1985.
Wayne was HLB Mann Judd's initial and sole specialist audit partner, and has played an integral role in the growth of this division which now has four specialist audit partners.
Wayne was the firm's Managing Partner from 1998 to 2002 and is currently the Director of the firm's Corporate and Audit Services Division. In addition, Wayne is the chair of the HLB Mann Judd Australasian Association Audit and Accounting Standards Committee.
Wayne has a wealth of experience in the profession, and specialises in audit services, investigating accountant's reports for IPOs, business valuations, litigation support and expert reports under the Corporations Act.
