Mid-tier accounting firm HLB Mann Judd has won three awards in the 2018 Financial Review Client Choice Awards, being named “Best Professional Services Firm (revenue $50 – $200 million)” and “Best Accounting Firm (revenue $50 – $500 million).”
In addition, Perth partner Litsa Christodulou was presented with the “Practitioner Award – Most Client-Focused Accountant.”
The awards were presented on 14 March at a gala dinner in Melbourne. It is the fifth time that HLB Mann Judd has won the “best accounting firm” award and the first time one of its partners has won a practitioner award. Another first for HLB Mann Judd was for Best Professional Services Firm, which is awarded against engineering, law and accounting firms in the revenue category.
Established in 2005, the Financial Review Client Choice Awards recognise outstanding performance as voted by clients in the sectors of accounting, law, engineering and management consulting.
The Awards are based on quantitative research into buyers of professional services throughout Australia and New Zealand, conducted independently by Beaton Research + Consulting. Winners are determined by the opinions of over 200,000 clients of professional services organisations who participated in the research.
Mr Tony Fittler, chairman of the HLB Mann Judd Australasian Association, said it is particularly pleasing to win awards that are based on the views and opinions of clients.
“To win an award, multiple times, that has been voted for by clients, is a real endorsement of the firm’s ongoing focus on client needs, and a reflection of how HLB Mann Judd is seen by those who matter the most to us.
“It is a validation from our clients that we are meeting their needs and helping them achieve their own goals, whether personal or professional.
“It is also rewarding that we have been nominated for the awards every year since 2012, highlighting the fact that our commitment to client service is an integral part of the HLB Mann Judd approach.
“I particularly congratulate Litsa for winning the Most Client-Focused Accountant award, which is a tremendous achievement and recognition,” Mr Fittler said.
