Mid-tier accountancy firm HLB Mann Judd has been named “Best Accounting Firm (revenue $50m – $500 million)” in the 2017 Financial Review Client Choice Awards.

The awards were presented on 7 March at a dinner in Sydney (Tuesday). It is the fifth time that HLB Mann Judd has won a client choice award.  This year,  Perth partner Litsa Christodulou was also named a finalist in the Practitioner Award – Most Client Focused category, the first time an HLB Mann Judd partner has been nominated. It is also the first time that the ‘best firm’ award has been shared, with McGrathNicol also named as joint winners.

Established in 2005, The Financial Review Client Choice Awards recognise outstanding performance as voted by clients in the sectors of accounting, law, engineering and management consulting.

The Awards are based on quantitative research into buyers of professional services, conducted independently by Beaton Consulting. Winners are determined by the opinions of over 200,000 clients of professional services organisations who participated in the research.

Mr Tony Fittler, chairman of the HLB Mann Judd Australasian Association, said to win the Client Choice awards multiple times is a true endorsement of firm’s focus on client needs.

“Because these awards are based on the opinions, through feedback provided directly and independently, of clients who have used the firms nominated in the past 12 months, they are a true reflection of how firms such as HLB Mann Judd are viewed by those who matter the most to them.

“It is an endorsement by our clients that we are meeting their requirements and helping them respond to the ever-changing regulatory and economic environment in which they operate.

“It is particularly rewarding to be nominated for the awards every year, highlighting the fact that our commitment to client service is an integral part of the HLB Mann Judd approach,” Mr Fittler said.
