Brian
Brian is a Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years of experience. He is a business advisory specialist who primarily provides tax-based consulting services to professionals and SMEs. However, Brian has wider experience across a range of other professional accounting activities including Local Government audits, SMSF consulting and auditing, statutory audits, forensic accounting, and financial planning. He has enjoyed a long involvement with the Medical and Allied Health sector. That experience has included establishing practice structures, coordinating entry and exit arrangements, valuing medical businesses and negotiating the acquisitions and sales of specialist medical businesses.
Alongside his professional career, Brian has been involved with a variety of organisations ranging from school P&Cs, junior cricket and rugby football clubs, Northern Suburbs and UQ Cricket Clubs (UQCC President for 3 years), GPS Rugby Club (Treasurer 2008-2012 and life member) plus Treasurer and later Vice-President of Queensland Cricket (1990-1997).
