Peter has over 15 years working experience in leading professional service firms and industry in Australia, South Africa, Brazil, China and Japan. He enjoys helping companies access government incentives, navigate commercial and IP issues to help them reach their potential.
Peter heads up Adelaide’s Tax Consulting division, providing R&D, grant and other services to various organisations across Australia. He has led numerous successful engagements in assisting companies to successfully access federal and state grants. This has been for companies, from start up to multinational, in a range of industries, including not for profit, mining and oil and gas, food, agribusiness, renewable energy, biotech, IT, automotive, manufacturing and defence.
Peter has a thorough understanding of tax, accounting, financial matters and an excellent understanding of what it takes to make a company successful. He gained this knowledge through past experiences at professional service firms, and from the MBA, which he undertook in the US and Japan.
Prior to working with professional service firms, Peter was a geologist with De Beers for 5 years working in China and Australia in the search of economic diamond deposits. This work, together with past roles in the accounting profession has provided him with invaluable insights in doing business with China.
