Your new role

Our Business Advisory Division offers an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant with 3 to 5 years’ experience.

We are seeking an individual who is committed to professional growth, is undertaking the CA program (if not already qualified), and who has the professional confidence to interact with a variety of client files. A solid foundation of experience gained in a small, medium or large accounting firm will provide a strong platform on which to further develop your technical and non-technical skills.

Your excellent inter-personal and communication skills will provide you with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.  Possessing a strong client service focus is imperative as is the ability to be completely accountable for your tasks, and work productively as part of a small team.

There is no such thing as a typical day at HLB Mann Judd! On any given day you might:

  • Cement your relationship with a client and deepen your understanding of their business
  • Connect with colleagues and collaborate on a tough problem
  • Participate in technical training to enhance your skills
  • Attend one of our many social functions such as quiz nights and drinks events

Does this sound like you?

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience preparing financial statements and income tax returns;
  • Experience liaising with client contacts e.g. ATO, creditors, debtors, solicitors;
  • You prepare client correspondence and letters of advice;
  • You are confident liaising with clients and answering queries;
  • You have strong attention to detail and are committed to meeting deadlines;
  • A critical thinker who is solutions-focused
  • A real team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Enjoys engaging with others –peers and clients
  • Professional with a passion for accounting
  • On the way to being CA qualified
  • An Australian citizen or permanent resident
