Robert has 45 years' experience in private client services, specialising in Wills and Estate Law.

Robert's expertise includes estate planning, drafting of sophisticated wills and other testamentary documents, trust law and intergenerational wealth transfer. Robert also advises on post death issues such as probate and estate administration. He is a Law Society Accredited Specialist in the areas of Wills and Estate law.

Robert firmly believes that proper estate planning is essential to minimise the chances of problems arising post death. However, where problems do arise Robert has extensive experience in the handling of post death disputes and issues.

Robert was previously a consultant with leading Sydney law firm and was Special Counsel with Australian Executor Trustees Limited (AET) (part of the IOOF group), where he was the manager of the AET national estate planning team of lawyers.

Robert is also a regular speaker on Estate Planning for lawyers, accountants and financial advisors. He is the General Editor of the Estate Planning Service published by LexisNexis. He has authored a number of publications, including co-authoring 'Estate Planning – A Practical Guide for Estate and Financial Service Professionals', of which five editions have been published – 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014 and 2021.
